DOSTv5 + v6

Here is the DOST v5 rules. DOST stands for Dark Omen Standard Tournament. Without these restrictions people tend to field cheap, powerful but unbalance units to do a "charge and win" brawl.
v6 rules : Any unfield armies are army with "unfair" allocation ... so by looking at the ladder games so far ... Dwarf and Orc need some upward adjustment (dwarf get 30% and orc get 15%) The point adjustment is for a game without allocation limitation ... so if any point cannot be fielded (like 12000) then dwarven/orc opponent has to "adjust ratioly downward" while dwarf/orc field 9000.

DOST have three suggestions. (I add the forth)
  1. There cannot be any patches or anything that has altered your Dark Omen Program in anyway.
  2. DOST is to be used as a guide line to promote challenging and fair competition and not posting as a strict rules. You are encouraged to make "house rules" and enhance the game play AFTER you play a couple of DOST games. As long as BOTH of you agree to the alterations to DOST's rules otherwise you should use this guide line as the default.
  3. Field units according to the appropiate Army list below.
  4. the following are new addition that will make the game less argumentative.
  5. (new addition) all army should be newly created with no experience.
  6. (new addition) agree on a map before launch game so there is no restart.
  7. (new addition) agree on a minimum play time auto win if other must leave earlier.
  8. (new addition) after minimum play time draw is possible by any side or set additional play time agreeable by both sides.
  9. (new addition) if lag is an issue play two games, switch host and client select map.


DWARFS
v6 : all dwarven army points get a 1.3 modifier, so 3000 x 1.3 = 3900

3000 point/gold Army - Dwarf Miners v6: 3900

5000 point/gold Army - Dwarf Town Garrison v6: 6500

* = Dwarfs may only pick Humans as allies. Siege engines don't count as allied units for Dwarfs. Any selection of allies MUST be within the restrictions of the Ally except for the Must have Unit Minimums. You cannot go above any unit restriction with allied units.

ELVES
DOST legal armys have 2 requirements. The first is to be made by the appropiate Army list, And the 2nd is that there cannot be any patches or anything that has altered your Dark Omen Program in the Slightest bit.

DOST is to be used as a general setting to Play games, not as a strict Guidelines. Please feel free to make "house rules" for your games and amend the DOST rules.

3000 point/gold Army - Elf Foragers

No monsters allowed

You use the 3000 gold selection to make a 5000 gold elf army

You use the 5000 gold selection to make a 7000 gold elf army
No monsters allowed

9000 point/gold Army - Wild Hunt

You use the 7000 gold selection to make a 9000 gold elf army
